Students have to answer with perfection, shouldn't our study material be perfect?

I just purchased this book a few minutes ago. I'm looking at the math portion and already found a very simple, embarrassing mistake. Algebra, lesson 2, isolating a variable, question 2 says the answer is "C". There is no "C" for an answer. It says that "C" is "4". "4" is correct, but is listed as answer "1". The same issue continues throughout this section. I then skimmed through the book and found some question numbers with no questions, and other annoying mistakes.
Students have enough to deal with when prepping for entrance exams, why put out garbage like this when we depend upon, and pay a premium for, prep material?
