SCAM!! Protection plan info not available anywhere!!

The product I bought this plan for just broke and when I communicated with Amazon they IMMEDIATELY referred me to ASURION!! They gave me a phone number which deals only with cellular phones. Furthermore, when I try to place a claim online, and I enter the order number it does not recognizes the plan. FRUSTRATING!!!

Cons: My questions about setting up the device were not able to be answered by the staff. Seemed to be reading the same document that I had, which came with the product. They ended up directing me to the manufacturer. I am wondering how different this product is from the Amazon Prime member warranty benefits.

Pros: Friendly staff answered right away and tried many different ways to assist me. They did not make me feel rushed. They did explain some terms I didn't understand from the set-up guide. Tried to connect me to the manufacturer directly, but office hours weren't the same. Resolved some of the problems on my own over time, but won't hesitate to use the support number or return policy if needed in the future.

This is an update to my review of 2/6/22. If there was a minus 10 review, that would be my current rating.
I have now requested a refund. A warranty claim should be a simple procedure. This experience has
been so time consuming and unreasonable. I won't be buying any more expensive electronics nor sham
protection plans from Amazon. Buyers beware.
