Paid for warranty, warranty not honored, policy canceled by Asurion

Asurion warranty FAIL. Paid for protection on my new printer purchased 9-29-19. Printer went bad 4-4-21. Tried to contact Asurion. You can only contact them via their website, no phone number, no email available. Their website said to call Canon, saying it is still under warranty. It was not. chat had no answer. I called Amazon, they gave me an email and a phone number. I emailed Asurion, I get a response saying they do not open emails. I get another response asking for more info. I email them the whole story, they say go to their website and file a claim, same problem, says it is under Canon warranty. Then I get an email saying they have canceled my policy and given me a partial refund for the insurance, but no the printer. So now I have a broken, unwarranted printer.
