Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings based on a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. The model takes into account factors including the age of a rating, whether the ratings are from verified purchasers, and factors that establish reviewer trustworthiness.
I purchased this protection plan with a Synology NAS, however there is no deliverable. I would like to get: 1. at least an email explaining the claims process and what the terms of coverage are (i.e. how many devices, which devices etc...). 2. a start date for the service (does it start after the manufacturers warranty expires or at time of purchase)
I tried to file a claim on line and found out the company looks up your Amazon receipt based on your email or phone number, however their copy of my receipt is literally a blank document.
Overall I'm left feeling like I've been swindled, because I don't have a clear document to point to showing that I have coverage. Furthermore I don't even know if I have to login and register my product.
Time will tell. I recommend keeping your receipt documentation!
16 months my router broke and they replaced it with a 90 day warranty refurbished router, I paid for a 4 year warranty....this was a big waste of money plus I had to pay 16.00 dollars for shipping ....I was under the impression it was going to be replaced with a new one. This warranty is a joke.
Asurion seemed good because it offered a 4 year plan and even offered service on scene. The problem is a similar problem to most bad protection plan companies. It seems impossible to file a claim. Jump through a bunch of hoops answering questions the company shows they already have the answers to and waste as much time as possible. I'm still trying to file a very simple claim that wouldn't even be an extreme. I just want to fix a low level problem with my projector, don't even want to replace it or anything extreme like that. This company seems to want money and not give the service the money is meant to represent.
Printer stopped working, called tech help. They can't speak English and when I kept asking, they hung up on me TWICE. I never did get any help. I wish I had not bought a warranty from foreigners! They tried to speak English but they couldn't. I could hear them just fine, but I can't understand most of what they say.I am sadly disappointed with Epson!
Was never able to get this router to connect to the internet. I knew it looked like a complicated router and the installation turned out to be true. Connecting the hardware is easy, but if you get a solid red light you're in trouble. The instructions don't list contact information so here it is (866) 225-8139. Waited for 20 minutes on hold only for the call to be dropped. So frustrating! Called a 2nd time and still on hold for over 16 min. No option to get a call back either. Not the way I planned to spend a Sunday night. Returning this.
Did not see where the terms were until after purchase. I got the insurance for an iPad and looking at the terms emailed to me AFTER purchase, it doesn’t cover cracked screen nor battery failures. Those were the only two things that I bought the insurance for in the first place.
