How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Most of these stories were amazing and suck you in and keep you reading.

There were a handful of stories like 'Wild Child' and 'Cafeville' that were really fun until the end. I felt the endings in these two stories in particular, were left hanging in a way that felt unfinished. Not the good cliffhanger ending either but more like "well that was unsatisfying..." sort of way because there were still details that I wanted to know about.

All in all, other than about 3-4 stories not having the greatest of endings, this was a great collection of short stories to read in the dark, and feel the chills.

Each story has something you don't expect. A scare for each reader. You have ghosts and monsters and the scariest of all..your own mind. It's a good read for everyone who likes to be scared.

There are some great stories in this collection. You get a mixture of just about everything. My favorite story is the last one about a voodoo queen.

Ron Ridley, David Longhorn and Sara Clancy contribute to most of these stories. They are the horrific writers I’m most familiar with, in the Scare Street series of books and they don’t disappoint.

I loved these short stories. They are all pretty good. Some were more scary then the others, but I enjoyed them all. I look forward to reading number 3.

Another winner from Scare Street! Sharon M. White and Julia Grace are new to me, but the rest of the authors I've read and loved before. It felt like 11 complete novels rather than 11 short stories because these were all awesome. They felt like complete stories and I wasn't left feeling like they were rushed. As with most anthologies, some were better than others, but each story is well worth reading. I encourage you to check out these Volumes because it will hook you on the different authors work!

Thom Bowers is a great narrator and one I've come to enjoy. He is always able to bring the spooky atmosphere to life and has plenty of tones and voices for the different characters.

I was given this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This in no way affected nor influenced my thoughts.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read selection of short stories

Yeah, Scare Street you have done it again. You have 11 short stories with well described plots with believable and interesting characters. Thom Bowers is always an added thrill to audio books. Thom has a way of maintaining your interest. I recommend this book. You have so many things to draw your interest: white noise, abandoned hospitals, etc. You get all of it. The collection of short stories each having their own well described storyline with believable and interesting characters. Thom Bowers does the narration and his voces pulls ypi in and maintains your interest. I recommed this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great collection of stories.
Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2019
This is a collection of stories that give the reader a glimpse into the darkened recesses of our world - places that may look and sound appealing but hide unspeakable horrors. There are things that go bump in the night, and the daylight. Things that haunt our dreams and lurk in the shadows, just waiting for the chance to strike.
This collection is written by some of the best talent that Scare Street has to offer. I can't say if Scare Street has cornered the horror genre but they have most certainly staked a claim to a prime spot. I am anxious to read more from these authors.
