Finally at the age of 6 I decided it was time to transition my only child out of her 5 point harness. Our old Recaro SHOULD have served this purpose as well; while it was amazing in the 5 point harness set up, it quickly turned in to a nightmare in the seat belt set up.
The Diono is narrow enough at the base to make clipping in the seat belt a cinch, the headrest is easy to adjust. It didn't come with tethers but the seat holds on to the shoulder belt so that the seat stays in place when my daughter isn't in it.
We took it on its maiden voyage today, 2 miles to school, and my daughter said she likes it. If anything changes, I'll update this review. As of now, I plan on purchasing a second seat.
Diono, it you are reading this, could you offer some more feminine colors? Or may aqua?
Update: hour in the car today and daughter was content. She is able To operate the seatbelt rather easily and clip herself in correctly. Just ordered two more!
