I have been looking for a duvet cover that has a high quality sheet-like feel to it. I like the coolness of this material. When this duvet arrived, I was really impressed with the quality of the cotton. The zipper is sturdy and looks like it will wear well for years. The ties in the corners were a surprise - I'd missed them in the description - and they're really well done. I don't usually write reviews, but to be honest, I've returned duvets to brick and mortar shops as well as Amazon because they just weren't well made, or the zippers were weak, or the threadcount read 400 but felt like 200...I am absolutely thrilled with this cover. It's everything I hoped to find and I look forward to the crisp, cool look of it for years to come. Initially I had a couple of questions about it and I emailed the contact off Amazon only to find answers in my email within a day. I found customer service to be very responsive. I was very impressed.

600 thread count, my foot.

More likely a 200 thread count with 3-ply threads. Washed on delicate cycle and dried on low, and there’s a huge snag right in the middle. And the thread hanging off the duvet cover is a good size, not fine at all. There is also a small hole at the base of the snag, so if I cut it off, I assume the whole thing will just start to unravel.

It’s also extremely scratchy. I know that cotton gets softer with use. I have always gotten cotton sheets and duvet covers. I’m very aware of how they start out scratchy, but I can assure you. This one is never going to be as soft as some of my less expensive duvet covers.

Super disappointed. Not even sure if good quality cotton is available on Amazon at this point.

I already had one of these and knew I liked it very much. Cotton but soft silky smooth. I had gotten oversized king. Tired of king size duvets only dropping a few inches over the side. Oversized is exactly that. It comes almost to the floor and the bed is high. Wish I could have one in between. I can and so can you. Get a custom size. I had thought it would take a lot longer and cost a lot more. Nope. It $1 more than the oversize and came as quickly as the other. You choose the dimensions.
I found the seller very accommodating. Eager to make me happy. They did.

This duvet cover is the softest and best duvet cover I’ve ever owned. If it’s a cold rainy Sunday I grab it and snuggle down on my couch. I don’t know what Cotten they use but so much stuff on amazon is sold as premium soft Cotten and it’s not or it’s cheap T-shirt type soft.

Here we are talking about a luxurious softness like a thousand little angels are hugging you. I’m joking because it’s hard to convey that at 47 years old and a major texture snob I finally found my perfect material. I want a robe made out of it. lol

Wow !!!! What can I say I feel like I’m in a five-star deluxe hotel!

I was inspired to write this review right now because my hands are dry and rough at the moment and I just ran my hand over the duvet to feel for the remote control and the duvet felt so luxuriously soft under my hand and I had a moment of true appreciation for it.
I was looking for a cover for a medium weight down comforter that was gifted to me Christmas '19. I bought this duvet cover immediately after and have been using it for approximately 2 months. I have made a decision to not buy any more polyester, acrylic, or any other unnatural material. I purchased the king size for an oversized queen. It is a little too big and I decide to put it on with the zipper on the side instead of the bottom. It leaves enough fabric to show the square quilted pattern of the comforter. It also leaves extra fabric (about 6 inches) for me to adjust to fall to the bottom of the bed, which I love because it acts to cover the box spring.
My misbehaving cat sprayed it wih urine recently and left a large stain and horrible smell. I cleaned it with bleach, and washed it out. The cover was back to perfect after. One note, it has gotton smags from my cat's claws. Although, it does not leave a hole, only a snag which I snip off and it looks pretty normal after. I am grateful for thos product and I have hope that it will last a long while and stand up to washing and my cat!

... but this is the nicest, softest comforter cover I've slept under at home or in a hotel. One key is Egyptian cotton: complete with that lovely soft nap (the fuzzy surface that you'll recognize from your favorite old pair of jeans), you should avoid that harsh, shiny Sateen stuff.
These comforter covers feel quality from top to bottom: a chunky zip closure (I never realized that buttons were so annoying until I didn't have to mess with them) and well-made comforter ties inside the cover, it feels great every night. I treated myself to this cover, along with Target's Casaluna Premium Duck Down comforter inside (as recommended by NYT's Wirecutter) and it might well the best money I ever spent.
I call it my duck palace.

Finally, a cotton duvet cover for a king bed that doesn't look undersized! This was a great deal for the price: corner ties to keep the stuffing in place, a quality zipper, nice cotton that is not flimsy or limp (i don't know what people are complaining about with roughness, it's just regular cotton - maybe they're looking for sateen?), it has a good thickness (not paper thin) and BEST OF ALL: it hangs down the sides of one's mattress so you don't see the sheet or the top of the bed skirt underneath. I need to buy another one as a spare. This was a home run!
