Another great book from the Ryan saga. It did take a little bit of time for the story to really get moving. But there were a lot of characters that had to be put in place. One thing though, it seems like a too much time has passed between books to be real. It doesn’t seem like JC (Ding’s son) should be old enough to graduate from high school. He was born just before the Sydney Olympics (Rainbow Six) and John Clark was close to 60 years old. President Ryan is in his 2nd term. So what year did he run that he is still President. (Was he elected in 2008. Kelty would have been elected in 2004 after Robby Jackson was killed and he was running for a second term against President Ryan when Ryan won his 2nd term in 2008 maybe.) So my thoughts are some of the ages / timeline don’t seem to add up. But then I am a numbers person. That doesn’t really detract from the story as JC is a minor character. Overall, I loved the story!!! But it is scary when you think about all the AI out there and wonder what can be done with it and it can be used against the US.
