Good read with some Loose Ends

I enjoyed the book but was left with questions. Did Violet actually remember Tara or are we too assume that her remembering "baby girl" led to her regaining her full memory? I was also confused by Leo claiming Violet was the love of his life. In the short chapters devoted to him, we were led to believe that Gabriela was the love of his life, that he was a pretty level headed and his faith wasn't very big. So the argument described later, along with him entering the monastery seemed out of place. I would have rather not had the few chapters about Leo or his family. Other wise it was a good read and I enjoyed it.
