A SEAL for the older woman! Yeah!

How exciting to finally read a book from Ms. Zanders that brings the older generation back into the forefront.

Gabriel Michaels is everything you would want in an Retired SEAL Commander. He and his team, Chase Dawson, Kyle Mancini, Simon Levine, Serena Domingus, and Beatrice Livingston, aka "Pixie" are on a mission to locate Christos Kristikos, a missing person with ties to international terrorists. Gabe meets Virginia Miller and soon finds her just what he's been missing in his own life. With the help of his dog "Fred" and the unknown "Tenebris" everything is put to rest. There is also the surprise appearances of some old friends and former acquaintances who's names and reputations you will recognize.

This was a good book and well worth reading. The one thing I loved about this book was the fact that we didn't have to deal with some "wishie washie" woman who couldn't make up her mind. Virginia Miller was strong and very capable! I loved her character throughout the book!

I won't buy another book from this author, very disappointing. Could have been such a great book too. Characters never developed, over stated information then total lack of information. Hints of relationships in team but never developed and everyone hooked up in a few pages. Disappointing ending....enough said.

Seal Out Of Water was an excellent title for this book since Gabe the retired Seal is called to duty for a land mission by Silas. Gabe hopes this mission will extract revenge for his Seal team brothers. Virginia works as a PA for Chris ,the missing businessman ,whose father is the object of Gabe's attention. With an investigative team set up by Silas, Gabe with his dog, Fred,goes into Chris' estate to find answers. He is not welcomed and the only person willing to assist him is Virginia. The two have an automatic attraction and work together for answers. There were a number of twists and turn in the story. I found the end of the book a bit complicated to follow and wasn't exactly sold on Virginia's ability to handle her "work" for the past 10 years and the end mission. That being said I loved visiting with the Callaghan family if only for a brief moment and the premise of lonely people finding fulfilling work and love.

Another great Silver Seal book. Totally loved Fred. He is definitely a charmer for Gabe. Gabe was enticed when Silas mentioned that he could revenge on a man who destroyed his team. He meets Virginia and sparks fly. It was a total surprise to find out she was a sleeper agent for a non-existent group. Virginia had her own reason to exact revenge on the man who destroyed her family and her life. Fred fell in love with her first before Gabe did. It was Virginia that was able to exact her revenge on the man and his sons. Once that was taken care of, Virginia disappeared for a while until her boss talked to her and asked her to get Gabe involved in the non-existent group. He agreed to join the group as they both wanted to be together. Now they are working together both on assignments and on their happily ever after! Fred has the best of both. FANTASTIC job Abbie! I would recommend this book.

I could not put this book down! I have read all the books by Abbie Zanders and was so excited when I saw this was on pre-order - and again, another great book.

I don't want to give away and of the spoilers so I will just say this book has lots of twists and turns and I did not see any of them coming!

Loved the inclusion of the Callaghan brothers - so much fun to see them again.

Loved Virginia and Gabe and how they had to struggle to get their HEA!

Can you tell that I loved this book?!!

I absolutely loved Gabriel and Virginia's story. I am a big fan of Abbie Zanders book and this one was definitely one of my favorites. It followed the line of the rest of the silver seals books so far.
I was on the edge of my seat turning pages like crazy trying to find out who was who and what was what! The mysterious disappearance of Virginia's boss is what Gabriel was investigating. I really enjoyed the team that was put together to assist Gabriel. I love how Ms. Zanders writes her characters you definitely feel like you know them. I love plot twists and this story was full of them. The cameo with the Callahan's waa a great touch!
I e enjoyed everything about this story! Enjoy!

Absolutely loved this story. Gabe and his dog Fred were a great team, I loved how Gabe treated Fred. Virginia is the female lead she was great. I have to say when the truth is revealed about who Virginia really was, blew my mind. SOOW is filled with suspense, intense scenes, mystery and ahhh moments. Zanders even brings in some of her characters from another series. Now I need the story or series on the Chameleons. Happy Reading!!

This is my first Abbie Zanders book and it won't be my last. I've already started book one of the Callaghan Brothers.

I enjoyed this WHODUNIT story. The older main characters are brought to life in a very enjoyable intrigue and brought together by a four legged friend that is an excellent judge of character. I truly was surprised by the ending and have to admit that it really "made" the story.

Grab it - you won't be disappointed. I'm off to Read Dangerous Secrets.

I used this book for my personal reading, found it as many others like it are easy to read with their ups and downs like most books. It had a good plot and storyline, a wee bit similar to one that I have previosly read, but enjoyable all the same. As with the majority of books I read, I tend to read them in a relatively short time frame as I like to know if I'm right as to whom the traitor/culprit is! Though do enjoy it when there is a good twist that you didn't see coming. I have already recommended it to a couple of my friends and I'm interested to see if they have a similar view to me.
