What do you do when you wake up in the morning and everything you knew was gone? Your parents are dead, you do not know what is going on and you are terrified. Meet Robyn and Wren, two (2) sisters who are pretty much opposite in their likes and dislikes, one of the girls, Robyn is the oldest and believes the government will come in and fix everything, they should just wait it out. The younger sister, Wren, knows they need to get as far away as they can from the large community they live in. In a matter of days, they learn very quickly what it means to survive, who to trust, how to fight, or at least are quick enough, but mind and body to get away. They are learning not everyone is out for their best interest and have run across some not so friendly types. All they want is to find a place to be safe. They come across a house that may be the answer to their prayers. So excited to see where this goes in the next book. Good job, had action, heart, laughter, loss. Hated to go to sleep as I wanted to finish this one and jump into the next chapter of these girls world.
