Wow! The process of getting a gift card due to a product that failed during the extended warranty period couldn't have been easier. I submitted a brief explanation of what went wrong, received a link for a return mailing label, took the product to my local UPS store, & before I knew it, my gift card had been processed. Adding the gift card to my Amazon account, so it'll be available the next time of shop, took mere seconds. I couldn't be more impressed!

I've bought several of these and it is a pain in the %^# to look up the order for which this coverage is for. Seems it would be much better if Asurion would just add the product description as well as the order number as part of the description!!!!

The insurance product has not been tested and will not be until something happens to the product. Therefore, it is premature to give it an honest answer. With insurance, you do not know how well their customer service will be until something happens. That is when the customer finds out, it remains unknown. It will only impact future sales.

I attempted to place a claim. No one answers phone, when it finally starts to ring no one answers.
I attempted to place a claim on line and I can not log in with my Amazon account and it will not send me the "code" via email.
Not worth the $. Now I have a device that doesn't work and no way to get it fixed.

Bought a slide viewer and this plan. Returned the slide viewer after a day or so. If I didn't go into my orders I would have forgotten I also purchased the plan. Now I need to get a refund on this plan. It's all more of a pain then it's worth it.

I tried to submit a claim for an electronic. A mouse and keyboard set that was recently purchased. The mouse did stop working. I followed the instructions to the letter. Once submitted I was prompted to submit the claim thru Amazon, since it was a recent purchase. Mind you they advertise this as immediate coverage as soon as you make the purchase. I don't care when the purchase was made. I purchased the plan and asurion should honor it.

I was offered to purchase this when I purchased a Digital Audio Recorder. Amazon already warranties their items to some degree. A device like a recorder would usually malfunction within the first month if there was something wrong with it and needed replacement or a refund.
Purchasing this based on suggestion wasn't necessary.

This was conveniently sent to my e-mail in a matter of minutes. I cannot attest to the benefits of the warranty as of yet. The item I purchased for warranty has not yet been shipped. Not sure how that works. It states that warranty coverage last a total of 36mos. from date of purchase. Which for me is a bit of a concern. I truly hope it won't be a problem in the long run. I literally have had purchases defaulted or defected literally a week or two after coverage lapsed. LOL Fingers crossed!

Went through the claim process only to have to chat with a Representative. Which wasn't bad just frustrating to enter information then tell someone what information I just typed in.
