I purchased a 2 year protection plan on a pair of Pioneer headphones in January. But the 2 year protection plan is only good for one time. The headphones broke after 7 months. After chatting with an agent for 15 minutes, I'm still waiting for them to send me an email with options to resolve the problem. The agent was unable to tell me how long any of this would take. For all I know it cold take weeks and they could be sending me old, used, crappy headphones but according to them they have fulfilled the terms of their contract. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. ASURION IS A SHADY COMPANY. UPDATE: I got back in touch and got a different agent and when I told him of my complaint, he quickly refunded my original purchase price. So this companies reputation all comes down to getting the right customer service agent. Grateful nonetheless.
When they finally sent me the options for the products to replace the Pioneer headphones, NONE of them were of comparable value. Both Pioneer and Asurion do not care about customers.
