Good filter, doesn't line up with the other stages though.

I actually got a whole range of these filters to compare them. I found that many of them are in the same filtration zone, but some have to be changed more frequently. So I got a bunch to compare. And while some say "fine" there is apparently a range of fine not mentioned. The finer it goes, the more frequent you have to change them.
Now, I haven't figured out how long it takes to get 8k gallons in my house. However, the 5 micron 15k lines up more with the other two filters for 10 micron and 20 microns. I would suggest AMZN-SCWH-5 over the AMZN-P5A which has to be changed at a irregular interval.
From what I have studied on this, it looks like the best way to do this, isn't just one whole house filter, but a several stage setup, with the micron counts going down. In my case, I have the 20 micro, 10 micron, and 5 micron filters. So that is what I would setup, and replace them every 3 months. This would cost roughly 20 dollars every 6 months.
This filter is the one that comes with the whole house filter from amazon. I would suggest getting the AMZN-SCWH-5 personally.
