So when I received this, I was completely and pleasantly surprised. It looks bigger in person. I took it out on a sunny day, Thursday through midtown, and then ended up getting soaked on the way home. During this time, about 5 hours, it felt comfortable but the straps kept loosening every time I would remove it, either one or both sides. That was frustrating walking through the city needing to secure it every hour. But as I ended up unintentionally filling it up with random purchases, some heavy, it held up, all the way til I picked up my old laptop. Except of course at the end it got a bit soaked, but I wasn't expecting it to be waterproof or water-resistant. I just wanted a nice, clean looking laptop bag for day outings. I got caught in the storm and luckily nothing got ruined. I'm content and impressed by the price and quality of this purchase. As you can see in the pictures, it dried up AND still looks like new out of the box. For carrying my laptop, day trips, walking around the city and occasional purchases- which is exactly what I bought it for- it's perfect.
I highly recommend this ONLY that I don't expect to be "beating the crap out of it" either. I won't take it out in the rain or snow, there's plenty of other backpacks for that. So hope this helps. Stay safe out there everyone 🙏
