Respectfully, lacks depth
Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2020
Respectfully, because it is an important topic and sounds like a lovely family, it was so endlessly positive and so much endless love that I could detect no depth here. Characters (the author and his family) were all wonderful and perfect all the time. It was not a true memoir in the sense of expressing depth of emotion or perception, just all apparent perfection - I'm sorry because i wanted to like it and it sounds like others did, which is great.
