This book kept me riveted. The tale of how our future night become a reality is so real in this story. It takes races differences to a whole new level. There are so many interesting twists in this plots, many are simply not anticipated. I look for more in this storyline. This story was interesting to the end for me.

This book left me with more questions than it did answers

Very unusual tale of cloning and genetics altering. Placed so far into the future it makes you wonder could science and technology really advance that far ahead. Although an interesting story it does get a bit confusing trying to explain why York won't take child cases and then the lead genetic doctors own issues with her owned child it feels like two different stories are being told but they do not totally come together into a cohesive story, left me slightly confused. I received an ARC copy and voluntarily reviewed this book.

I've read Larissa's Nocturne Falls Universe books and enjoyed them. This book came up on my recommendations. It sounded OK so I downloaded a sample and was hooked. York and Kindra were well developed characters and the future world was well developed. So often future books talk about some horrible disaster happening and half the population being gone. This book dealt more with the "improvements" we see such as no major diseases. It also shows the downside of the improvements. I loved watch York and Kindra overcome their preconceived ideas of the other and become stronger together.
I'm a little disappointed no one else has reviewed. I would hate to see this series not go forward. I read the spoiler for the next book and wist I had it already to start reading.

I thoroughly enjoyed the originality of this book and the characters. I am a fan of this author and Perfection is a perfect addition to any library. The characters are superbly crafted and the ways in which the genetically modified and ordinary people are treated are indicative of our society today and just as pointless. The story kept me engaged and entertained from start to finish.

Gripping, nail-biting and very apropo w/hope and romance!

My first thought was this was exactly what we're living with today on in the future with two races of people. Then, the book took a turn and I kept thinking no way, it can't end like this. Then, the two main characters of different races (spoiler) worked together and finally!! the last few pages solved the horror for now heh heh. Perfect read, I was so into it and very different from what I expected! Applause.

Wonderful Read

While written as a fantasy / sci-fy book, it has really relevant plot. basically, Genetically Engineered Individuals (GEI) and 'normal' individuals are thrust together in a suspenseful "Who done it". I loved this book. What was interesting, is as i was reading this, there was an episode of "Explained" on Netflix, that touched on this exact topic... Genetically editing babies to make them better, which is exactly how the history of this book started. The dynamics of the characters is great and the plot is intriguing. A must read.

Romeo and juliet meets sci-fi

I received this arc and absolutely loved it. It was a little far fetched for me when i read the summary but am glad i got it. It was a well painted picture of a future world full of cloning and genetic manipulation. But they fall in love... its like sci-fi meets romeo and juliet.

To be honest by reading the summary I thought I wouldn't be into this....BUT I WAS WRONG. The plot was so captivating it had me sucked in. There was romance, mystery, and suspense all packed with two great lead characters. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

I wasn't sure I would like this book, but it quickly changed my mind. I could't stop reading it. I especially loved the fact that it was children that united two very different populations to work together. I look forward to reading more by this author!!

This is a very entertaining book. It is set in the future, and if you are into science fiction, you will love it. It does include the death of a child which may be upsetting to some.
