This book is perfect for the college or professional athlete . As an attorney myself it is refreshing to read a book that actually provides easy to understand steps to accomplish the reader's objectives. The many financial challenges an athlete faces are comprehensively addressed in the author's book . But more importantly the book describes in great detail how to face those challenges and wind up financially secure. Whether you are a college athlete on the verge of turning professional or a professional athlete returning to the private sector this book is a must read .
Mr. Miller's concern in this area seems to come from real experiences of young athletes and those with great potential making huge mistakes - and so the book makes sense. Great insights and reading for anyone signing a big contract or a deal or looking to manage a sudden influx of money - in sports, entertainment or other professions. How many more times to we have to read stories about well meaning athletes being taken advantage of by so-called "agents" and investors? Mr. Miller has the practical knowledge. I look forward to more insights from him in other venues.

I found this book very insightful. The author really knows the subject matter and his tone is helpful, and does not talk down to the reader. According to his bio, Mr. Miller is a CPA with a portfolio of professional clients. Every parent and fledgling athlete should use this resource.
