Well met, Tara and Force Two-Five!

Kevin Ikenberry as usual does not disappoint. We step right into the action and don’t stop until the end of the book. Deathangel follows Tara Mason, her crew, and her protagonist, Kr’et’Socae as they race to find clues to the where-abouts of Snowman. Kr’et’Socae who is a disgraced Enforcer, appears to have multiple plans in action as he seeks revenge for his imprisonment and for the death of a potential mate by one of the Peacekeepers on Tara’s team. He is also on a mission for the Mercenary Guild to find the Snowman who just happens to be Jessica’s father. As we jump from one system to the next and between Force 25 and Kr’et’Socae’s forces we start to get possible hints of where Snowman might be. We also see Tara growing as a leader and her team expanding from four persons to a full mercenary company called Force Two Five.
The end of the book just points us toward more action and wanting it now. My only complaint is that Mr. Ikenberry needs to speed-write his novels so we don’t have to wait. I want to find Snowman as much as Tara because I want to be part of the action that I know finding him involves. I also want to be there whenever they stop Kr’et’Socae’s machinations.
