Technical errors are driving me crazy!
Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2020
I love the characters and the stories in the Agent Zero series but the technical errors are glaring and continue throughout the books. Like what, you might ask?
1. Glocks do not have a safety in the traditional sense.
2. In book #4, the members of "The Division" are armed with AR-15s; that is a civilian, semi-automatic version of the military M15 / M4. They wouldn't be carrying AR-15s, more likely M4s or something newer.
3. The USS New York is not an Arleigh Burke class destroyer; it's an amphibious transport dock. Okay, I grant poetic license to use the name for a destroyer in the story but it's not a battleship (referenced as such in a couple of places) and it doesn't have 173 crew members (as indicated by the president); it's usually 337 or 380, depending on the variant.
Yes, these are nitpicks and most readers won't care but it shows a lack of care or insufficient editing (or lack of a technical editor). There was a very glaring continuity error between chapters 20 and 21; in 20 they're leaving H-6 but in 21 they're flying from Baghdad to Jerusalem.
In spite of these flaws, I continue to read the series because I'm invested in the characters.... I want to know what happens to Agent Zero and his daughters Maya and Sara.
