I'm 5'7" 260lbs bodybuilder, 35" waist.

I wasn't expecting much from a two pack of gym shorts for under $20, but I was pleasantly surprised when receiving the shorts today. The shorts are light weight and thin, not thick and heavy like a lot of gym/basketball shorts today. Sorta like underarmor shorts in terms of thickness. The 10" inseam falls right below my knee cap, which is great. I usually prefer 11" inseam but these are strictly for the gym so they'll do. Shorts that ride above the knee are for canadians, europeans, and the freaking french.

The only thing that concerns me is the washing/drying instructions on the label. I typically wouldn't read it, but the skull and cross bones label caught my eye. It says NOT to tumble dry. IDGAF i'm going to tumble dry them anyway, if something happens I'll update my review.

Okay for AT HOME USE

I usually wear large shorts, but ordered XL after reading all the reviews. They fit perfectly. HOWEVER, reviewers aren't lying...these things are so thin you can see what's going on underneath. If I put a quarter in my pocket, you can tell it's George Washington's head. These will work out great for working out in my home gym, but I'm not going to wear them out in public.

Update: after a couple of wearings, it seems upsizing was a mistake. The waistband is now loose to the point where the shorts feel like they are falling down.

I'm also not happy that I apparently paid 50% more for these than some other reviewers.

Good shorts, don't get the white.

Good pants, fit is good and are comfy. The white pants however are very see through. Kind of makes them useless but will do fine around the house.

I bought these for gym use and to play volleyball. One pair is great--the cut and length are perfect for any athletic activity. The other is slightly smaller, and any movement that requires squatting causes them to get tight in the crotch. Not tight enough to injure, but tight enough to annoy. Definitely size up if you have big quads and glutes and you plan to workout in them.

Decent shorts for the gym

Loose fitting and comfortable for the gym. They're a bit longer than I expected. I was trying to avoid the basketball-style shorts which hang well below your knees. I thought these were them, and while they're not as low as other styles, they still hang about an inch below the knees (I'm 5' 8" which may play a part in that, but I'm assuming as the sizes go up for taller guys, they'd encounter the same).

TL/DR; decent shorts for the gym.

I workout at the gym, play basketball, and I run marathons, so I own and I have owned several brands of shorts.

The shorts are perfectly fine for working out at a gym. The price-point is appropriate for the shorts. Do not expect these shorts to feel and perform like $35.00 shorts. These are decent shorts at a decent price. I expect them to last a couple of years as gym shorts, but I would not expect them to last as long for more rigorous activities such as basketball.

The only reason for less than five stars: five star shorts have a different "feel" that reflects their higher quality. But, they also cost more.

Fit was good, has been durable in the wash, comfortable, lightweight. But the material is like a thin, loose, yoga pant material. So men who wear this, I would be hesitant to wear in public because of..... "Creases". You know..... 🍆

Basketball Short Length

While this IS mentioned in the description, *I* neglected to read it. These shorts are LONG. They are the length of a typical basketball uniform short. They are mid calf in length. I was looking for something knee high in length. These shorts ARE very good. The material was what I wanted/was looking for. I cannot return them because of my mistake, and unfortunately they will never be worn, and I continue my quest for what I am looking for.

Fall just at or below the knee which is fine for the younger generation but I use these on runs and walks and would prefer a little shorter product.. These shorts are very comfortable and the waist fit is accurate but they seem very long and kinda baggy to me. I’m also not confident that they’ll hide sweat. I like that they're lightweight and loose fitting but the material is so thin. If you just wanted a pair of shorts (or 2), then these may be one of your cheapest options on Amazon. I only had one pair of shorts to lounge in, so I invested in these. All in all, they do the job but don't expect the material to be thick.

Nearly perfect, issue with drawstring

I really have no complaints about this product except one. Every time these shorts are washed, the drawstring gets pulled into the waistband and I have to spend minutes working on it to gradually coax it back out of the opening. If the elastic ever goes in the waistband, the shorts will be more frustration than they're worth.
