Top critical review
Check item longevity... not a long-term solution. Reviews manipulated?

I ordered 2, and within 24 hours of using it, one of the adapters stopped working. The blue light would no longer illuminate, and ethernet was not detected on the iPhone 6s Plus I was using it with. One of the two adaptors was returned for a refund. The 2nd adaptor died just before two months of ownership.
When it worked, it worked well with an iphone 6s plus and 1st gen iPad Pro.
The Messages App doesn’t send messages, but has received messages on the above devices running iOS/iPad OS versions 13.4. Messages can be sent and received on WiFi, but only received when connected to Ethernet only.
I also receive popup notifications telling me to turn on the WiFi / turn off airport mode each time I access emails via the Mail app. I have been unable to download new apps from the App Store, but can update apps.
These adaptors also work with a VPN and they are one way to use an iOS device for emails and web browsing without WiFi.
Please note that I originally gave this item a three star review because I bought two and one of them failed within 24 hours of using it. I then received multiple emails from a person who claimed to be a representative of the manufacturer, who sent me an unsolicited message to my personal email address. He offered me a replacement item even though Amazon had already issued a refund.
I said that I would be willing to receive a replacement item, and that I would evaluate it, without changing my three star review until after the evaluation. The representative asked me to write a five star review, and I said that I would not do that. I told him that I would evaluate the product and then make my decision and that was the only condition that I would receive a product from him.
He then sent me, shipped by Amazon, a higher-spec product that was marked as Out of Stock on Amazon’s website. After receiving yet more emails I told him that I wanted one month to evaluate the product before deciding whether to write a review, and that if I received further emails then I would classify them as harassment.
The replacement item eventually became unreliable, and I changed the review to one star. Please note that my experience id that this company actively tries to manipulate its product’s reviews.
