A Great Story
Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2019
I have said this before in other "Trouble " reviews, and I am going to say it yet again. I am totally enchanted that this series has several different writers, and though each one brings her own style of story telling to this very entertaining series, the continuity of the character stays intact. That speaks very highly of the talent ALL of these gifted writers bring to the series. All of the "Trouble" books are stand alone mysteries, but once you read one you'll want to read them all, as I have. I have re-read some of them because I enjoyed them so much. Trouble attached himself to Kylah because when he first saw her, his "cat" sense kicked in that she was heading into some kind of "Cat"astropic event. It was his interaction with Deputy Marshal Wolf Stockton that keep me so entranced though . Wolf picked up on it right away that this was no ordinary cat. When he met Tammy Lynn, Trouble's beloved human, she confirmed that "Trouble" indeed, had extraordinary sleuthing skills. She then gave him her business card and told him to call her when they had solved the mystery,or when Trouble decided he was ready to go home. The romance that developed with Kylah and Wolf was just too cute. Their witty banter about the cat, added to Wolf's vow to keep Kylah protected, along with a few twists made this a great story. One of my favorite scenes was the restaurant scene when the waitress asked Wolf, how the cat under their table liked his steak prepared. After the murderer was arrested and things settled back down, Trouble tapped Wolf's cell phone. Though he regretted having to return Trouble to his owner, Wolf knew it was time to call Tammy Lynn. I don't know which of the other writer's of this series will produce the next adventure, but I do know that I can hardly wait to see what Trouble gets into next. I also know it will be another awesome story.
