To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This is an excellent book. The paperback version is incredible. However, the Kindle version needs tons of work. - I cannot highlight individual words/phrases in any of the lists because they are not text; they’re images. HUGE FLAW. - The Flashcards aren’t easy to use. We should have the option to highlight text and manually add it to a deck of cards. That way, we can personalize it. - Similarly, the Language Lab app is poorly done. It would be useful if one had the option to manually add certain cards to one’s own, personalized deck. It would also be useful if we could review the cards marked incorrect, afterwards.
I have never used this edition before but have worked with two earlier editions. I have been using the 2rd. ed. in my French classes for seniors, and wanted to upgrade to the newest edition. Each edition seems to be an approvement one upon the other--but I have found the editions are all compatible in my classes, where various students have different editions-1st thru 3rd..
