Excellent reading. Great insight to the legal world.

At the beginning I wasn't totally sure I'd like it. Ashley, our heroine, drove me nuts. She really did. Every thought she had wound up going off into left field about her ex boyfriend or her family and the way she was 'driven' to succeed. I just wanted to smack her! That did finally start to even out tho' and her interaction with Logan, out Hero, was a little funny and it was easy to see where that was going. From that point on the story got interesting. The ins and outs of lawyers striving for partnerships and jobs in general, big firms and their dealings with clients, etc. was very well written. The competition factor between lawyers trying out for the same position was interesting. At different points I was still outdone somewhat with Ashley. For a lawyer, she seemed almost on the whiny side but by this time, knowing of her background, it was sort of understandable. I liked the consistency of the story, no long drug out parts that went nowhere, it was easy to follow and thoroughly enjoy. The sexual situations between Ashley and Logan were there of course, not in too extreme detail that goes on forever, but there none the less. Not bad considering they had always had a 'thing' for each other but never admitted it. I'd recommend this to anyone that like romance mixed in with corporate shenanigans going on at the same time. Good reading for sure. One small thing tho. One fairly integral character was sort of left out of completion at the story's end. Maybe it will be caught up again in a following story. Outside of that, I enjoyed it a lot.
