A Really Amazing Comic

Mortal Weapons is a great first installment to a series I'd love to see more from. While I don't practice Martial Arts, the fight segments were very entertaining and are beautifully illustrated by Emon Rashid. I also really enjoyed David Christian's story for the comic. The characters in the story are interesting and by the end I already wanted a part 2. David and Emon did an awesome job on the story and illustrations for this comic and I can't wait for later chapters about Datte's journey. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

I would not have bought if I knew it was a graphic novel

I was expecting a book not a comic book. This should have been mentioned and listed different then regular books.

A very well written and entertaining comic. The author does an excellent job breaking down the strategy of a fight while also telling a great story. I have not found another comic anywhere close to this level of mechanics and realistic story telling. Cannot wait to order the next volume once it’s available.

I found The Modern Marital Artist Channel due to their amazing fight break downs. One of my favorite sources of analysis for combat sports. This comic clearly comes from their pedigree as it examines fighting as a puzzle similarly to how they do in their channel. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the tactical aspects of the "sweet science".
