5.0 out of 5 starsLucy Garrett - Just the Latest in a Series of Terrific Novels By R. O. Lane
Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2019
R. O. Lane is one of my favorite western writers. I’ve purchased all of his novels to date and have read all of them several times. I look forward to each new book and set aside some time to read and enjoy each one. His books have some romance in them and involve admirable characters that do what’s right.
His latest is “Lucy Garrett,” which is something of a departure from his previous books in that the protagonist is a heroine. However, the book is just as good as his previous releases. I can’t even begin to express the huge amount of enjoyment I derive from reading his books. He and C. J. Petit are two of my favorites and I’m always looking for their new releases every month.
R. O. Lane’s books started at $.99 for most of his releases, which I read under the Kindle Unlimited selections, but quickly purchased them as I started reading them. The last few have been priced at $2.99, but I’ve bought them anyway because they are well worth it. I now just buy them as I see them, although they are still offered under Kindle Unlimited. They are keepers and I prefer to own them versus borrowing. I really loved “Hank,” the previous release before “Lucy Garrett,” and “Saving Muffin,” one of his earlier books. Now that I’m up-to-date on all his books. I really look forward to the next one. He just doesn’t disappoint and his books are better than ever.
