Great product for the money, these are brand new parts!!!

This is a third set of breaks for my truck, and I absolutely love the product. Always easy to assemble, no need to file the ends, this is a brand new product not some re-furbished brake pad from some OEM brand that does not fit correctly and you have to grind on it to make it fit. Stopping power is very very good, I also have cross drilled/slotted rotors and I don't have any issues other than the pads last about 35,000 miles... I think that's fair.
Again, very good product for the money, and it works great!!!

Terrible Customer Support

I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on and I suggest you do too.

Purchased and installed: Power Stop Z36-1363 Pads & AR8654XPR Rotors

I installed these on my truck and from day one they were not right. I installed them correctly (I've done many brake jobs in my life). They make this grinding noise when you brake heavily. I put them through the break in process about 6 times as Power Stop recommended but the noise never went away. Now after the warranty period (3 months?? Come on!) they are starting to squeak at very low speeds as well. Power Stop told me "this is normal". How is this normal when one of the key factors they use to tell you when to replace your brakes is when they start to make squeaking noises?

I did contact Power Stop regarding the grinding. They told me repeating the break in procedure would fix this. I then contacted them again saying the noise was still present and they said the warranty was up and they couldn't help me. They also told me that their 3 year warranty only covers cracking (of the rotors I believe) so that's useless. I guess warping would leave you on your own too based on their support policy.

The kicker that pushed me over the edge was the Power Stop told me their pads failed and that they recommend I replace them. All while knowing their product was faulty from the beginning.

It's time to do the brakes on my wife's vehicle and I almost bought Power Stop. So glad I waited.

I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on and I suggest you do too.

During installation on my 08 sierra today I had to grind down one of the brake pad tabs as it was not made to exact tolerances. It was so tight it would not move in the brackets. checked, double checked. Had to grind material away with a bench grinder to get it to fit properly. This was a first. Wont purchase this brand again. Been dealing with the manufacturing company for over a day now trying to get refund. They needed receipt, and photos of issue so I had to take the brakes apart again.

Installed on a 2013 Tahoe. Pads were to large to fit and slide freely. Had To modify with a bench grinder to get a good fit. I expect this from cheap generic brands, but really expected more from the power stop name and prices. Would not recommend

Under normal braking situations, I can barely feel the extra braking power. However under harder braking situations, the extra friction is definitely there. After a thousand miles, my wheels are still clean - no dust at all. One other thing is noticeable though - the smell. The smell of brake is inherently stronger under all circumstances. I don't know if that's normal though for higher carbon fiber content.

This is my second set of pads. The first ones lasted almost 3 years. I pull a 24 door toy hauler and a boat so I use my brakes a little more than the average person. I really like these and my drilled and slotted rotors.

These are the best aftermarket brake pads I have ever used. Very low dusting on the rims but incredible stopping power. After properly seating them, they never squeak. This is the third set I have owned. Will buy another when these go bad. I tow frequent very heavy loads with my truck and these never fade.

I installed these after noticing my brakes pulsing after 46000 miles. The original pads had plenty of life left however i was not longer getting any bite the instant i pushed on the brake pedal. After replacing the front rotors and these pads, the instant bite is back. No excessive brake dust noticed on the rims.

-install was easy
-no defects with pads.
-Installed with original truck rotors.
-Braking is good. I have 22" rims with 33" M/T tires and stops well with these pads. Haven't pulled my trailer and tested them yet but sure it will stop well.
-No squeaks or squeals so far.

Like others said...They don't provide enough lubricant which isn't too much trouble. Just go to the auto parts store and buy a can.
