1.0 out of 5 starsWorst Barrington story ever

I have read all the Barrington stories and have noted a dismaying recent tendency to 1) spend several pages in pointless, not-very-clever banter with Dino or the current female friend and 2) to race around the world in his jet and yacht to visit all his houses in an attempt to escape a clever criminal out to kill him, a criminal easily able to out think Barrington and all his private protection and police friends. This book was the worst of all these recent examples.
Also, Barrington places some characters in Ames, Iowa where he has a banker constantly using "Jah" for yes and at times speaking ungrammatically. I am a 73 year resident of Iowa and a 17 year resident of Ames, Iowa and have never heard any Iowan use "Jah" nor any banker speak ungrammatically. Kudos to Woods for placing a bit character somewhere other than Delano, Georgia and for knowing that Ames has a state university (which I attended for 7 years). If only he had spoken to some real Iowans before he attempted to make a character speak like he thought an Iowan might speak. So come on Stuart I know you can do better than this.
