Piece of Crap
Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2019
I broke the cable/satellite cord three years ago, In that time, I have bought and tried 15 different HDTV antennas. This is the first antenna that picks up all the channels in my remote viewing area. I am 60 miles from the nearest transmission site and there are many "mountains," actually high hills and forest, between me and all the stations I can receive. There are 45 stations in my viewing area, 60 - 110 miles away and in a 180 degree arc. So, my antenna requirements are somewhat outside the usual needs.
I have this antenna on a 25 foot mast. This antenna is made from cheap Chinese aluminum and plastic, easy to break. One of the problems with this antenna is the 360 degree rotation. You can wind up after sufficient rotating, pulling the end out of the RG-6 cable and thereby killing the reception as it just keeps going around the same direction. Also, high winds can pull the RG-6 end off the antenna connector (cheap Chinese cables) rendering the cable useless. (50 ft cables are not free.) I found pieces were breaking off all the time when trying to assemble it and in bad weather.
I discovered I had to replace either the antenna, or the cable, about every four months. As it was the only antenna that could bring in all the channels I wanted, I just lived with purchasing a new antenna/cable every four months for the last two years. I finally became fed up with buying this piece of crap antenna and searched for, and found, a much better long distance antenna for the same price. I am glad I did.
