It was so boring
Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2019
I really like this author and I have read a lot of her books but Finding Tomorrow: A Bluebird Bay Novel, was just down right boring. Where was the angst, where was the character building? I loved the first scene with her sister and the dog. That was funny and interesting but the rest of the book did not have any heart. The women were in there 50's but skinny and beautiful, everything they did or tried turned out perfectly, when met with adversity it did not phase them. It had all the depth of Taylor Swift's, Shake it Off. Divorced after 30 years, no problem. Starting a new business after never working or baking in a couple decades, no problem. Start dating someone new after said divorce, no insecurities. Please. Honestly, I have not finished the book and don't think I will. Sorry Denise, this is not a winner for me.
