Really enjoyed this series. I did get a little confused when Juliana was blocked from using her magic or unable to break through a spell someone was using against her since she was supposed to be the most powerful paranormal alive. Loved the way Everly evolved throughout the series. The girls were such good friends. It was fun to watch their friendship grow. I highly recommend this series.

It feels like a first draft. Incomplete characters, lovestory missing parts to get good. Random things happening out of the blue that makes no sense. Since the whole storyline is missing good chunks of pages to be good. I stuck to the book hoping it got better, it
didn't. This whole book got potential. If rewritten that is.

The plot is a five star rating without a doubt. But the story itself is lacking. It felt incredibly rushed. Not very detailed. I had to go back a couple times and reread. One of the charters name got changed to his last name mid story which really confused me. His name was Corbin Connor and halfway through he was just Connor. His brother referred to him as Connor which I found odd. There are a few phrases that are used excessively. There are a few aspects that I find bizarre, such as the raven shifters that just swoop down and take students to their death and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of people who really care about it including teachers. They all just stand around and kind of watch it happen and don’t react. The main character is irritating with the guys she likes. She doesn’t know who she likes. But the next paragraph she’s head over heels for them. It’s all a bit confusing but the plot is good enough that I’ll go to read the second one and hope for a better and more detailed explanation.

I have read a lot of Paranormal Academy Series and this one is one of the BEST. It has its scary moments, Very Romantic moments and the other what the HECK was that moments. Something evil is lurking around the campus and it's up to a scared freshman to help figure out what is going on before the you know what hits the fan so to speak... Who can she trust to help her save the future of the Academy and the lives of her friends and fellow students ? She has been alone for all of her life with no one to be on her side. The Time is fast approaching to put all of her faith and trust into mostly strangers, Some who could be her enemies out to put an end to her future. I can hardly wait to start reading the next book in this wonderful journey into the unknown.
