Best Basin for Soaking Feet
Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2020
I'm a little reluctant to say why I bought this, but what the heck. I have toe nail fungus on my big toe. For just over a month I've been soaking my feet in warm water and vinegar twice a week or so. Well, the fungus is growing out and I see more normal toe nail emerging. I’ve been living with this for many years now. One of my doctors suggested I don’t use medication for it because of all the side effects these anti-fungus chemicals cause. So, I complied until now. If I only new about this ‘new medication’ called vinegar, that seemed unknown several years ago, I would have started this regiment then. The only side effect I’ve noticed is that one’s feet end up smelling like vinegar and that causes me to have a yearning for fish and chips. The odor is easily dispelled with the use of a fragrant moisturizer. Getting back to this basin. I really like the shape and size as it gets me excited about soaking my feet. It’s deep enough and has these wonderful bumps at the bottom that seem to relax me. I’ve tried to use other rectangular basins in the past, but never soaked my feet more than once or twice a year. I now look forward to it and I attribute that to this basin’s characteristics. Maybe it’s in my head, but it works for me. The basin is easy to clean and sturdy enough so I don't have a to worry about spills. I don’t usually get excited about much, but I do look forward to coming home from a hard day’s work and relaxing in front of the TV with my feet in this basin soaking in warm water. And I’m thrilled that my toe fungus is being cured at the same time.
