Great theme story & cover

Got to hand it to the author. It was a good story. It was bittersweet for me. The story seemed to geared to be written for parents or those who love children in the telling. This was my 2nd book. It was great seeing great relationships depicted. The two men who were great friends were like brothers who watch each others back. Then reconciliation between father and son made for a good touching story. There is a reality to this story than the typical guy riding into the sunset after saving the damsel in distress. The story had its beauty in the telling. But expectected more beautiful written prose or detailed descriptions in the surroundings with the butterflies and all that. It does paint a vivid scene, but is quite simplistic.
