Ive never had a silicone toilet brush before.. I walked in not knowing if it will actually let me scrub the toilet.. ive used it many times since purchasing and its is wonderful. I can still scrub and get yuckies off the toilet bowl and it has no problem getting up under the rim and it actually dries and the brush itself is easy to clean as well. so pleased with this product

Not effective at all.

I had been using the same toilet brush for longer than I care to think. It was gross. I liked the look of these, liked the reviews....but it is just a lightweight plastic brush, and the silicone is NOT effective. Even with a cleaner it does not clean my bowl, it doesn't get under the lip, it doesn't actually get my bowl clean without a lot of work. I have to use a cleaner and let it sit (my old brush could just give a good scrub down as needed without chemicals), and then the brush doesn't actually even clean well. The fact that it doesn't get under the lip at ALL, it's not flexible, it doesn't do any of the things a toilet brush is supposed to do....I look at the other reviews and cannot figure out how anyone is having a positive experience with this brush. A total waste.

Sellers get away with the craziest descriptions! This flimsy plastic brush and holder has a paper thin 6 inch sheet of stainless steel looking material at the base of the plastic handle. It in no way reinforces any connection or fortifies the item! The rest is typical dollar store plastic made in China. The silicone bristles may be easy to clean but only because they do no cleaning! Too soft.
Was it easy to assemble? Sure! Screw one plastic part of a handle into another. Is it attractive? Not particularly. It’s a plastic toilet brush!
God help me to stop wasting money!

This is nice! It does it’s job and looks nice in your bathroom. This definitely works for a person like me that has a little OCD...lol. I love the tweezers that you can take out of the top of the handle to pull anything out that might get stuck in the bristles. Also, that it has a base that collects the drained water without having to worry about it getting on you(it’s all enclosed in the removable base at the very bottom). In my opinion, this is much more sanitary than your regular “toilet brush”. Nothing has yet to get caught in the silicone bristles. I like this so much that I ordered a second one!

Won't go back to a bristle brush ever again

I wasn't sure about the silicon bristles cause of some of the mixed reviews. But I love it! My toilet was really really dirty and with this brush I had to add a bit more pressure than I normally had to with a traditional brush. But, it ACTUALLY CLEANED the bowl SO much more than a bristle brush. It got stuff under the lip I didn't even know was there...cause who sticks their head far enough into the toilet to see that part. But I could see just how well it was cleaning it cause there were some nasty chunks coming off. The chunks did show how easy it is to clean/rinse the brush cause just a dip in the water and all chunks were instantly in the water and not on the brush. I'm SO glad I gave it a chance.

Works better than traditional brushes

This brush works very well. It stays perfectly clean, since nothing sticks to the silicone. It also dries quickly, so it never drips on the floor when one pulls it out of the footing. The only downside is that the plastic handle doesn't feel very sturdy, so I don't know how long it will last. It comes in a square box with 4 pieces - the base, the brush head, and 2 segments of handle which all screw together. Silicone seems to be the way to go.

I hate toilet bowl brushes, but let's face it we need one right. Time to move forward with technology. I've had this a few months, love it so far. Feels cleaner just sitting there in the corner vs. a traditional brush. It's easy to use and clean, it even comes with its own cleaning tweezers for the brush, clever. Works well in the bowl, I feel it scrubbs better than the traditional brushes.

Flawed concept, bad design

Anyone that is serious about actually cleaning a toilet should run away. The silicone "bristles" are better suited to gently basting a turkey than they are to attacking the scale that builds up in a toilet bowl. At best, the brush gently massages the bowl (no matter how aggressively you attack it) and will remove only loosely attached debris or scum, with virtually no results in removing the scale at the waterline.
Also, the cap at the end of the handle has a sharp rim that threatens to tear through rubber gloves, and is very uncomfortable to use with a normal grip.
Almost any other toilet brush would work better than this one.
On the plus side, the holder does a good job at keeping the brush upright in storage, but the tiny vent holes don't really do much to allow the brush to dry out between uses as claimed. And another plus is that it was inexpensive enough that I will just throw my new brush in the trash rather than bother to return it.

I was so grossed out by how yellow our old toilet brush got after so little time that I knew I wanted black bristles. I saw this in my search and was immediately intrigued. Silicone bristles?? That can’t work… can it?

Oh my. This cleans just as well as our bristley brushes we have used for years. The black color will help hide any discoloring I assume. And an added bonus! Water doesn’t drip all over the place upon removing the wand from the toilet bowl water. Amazing. That alone makes it worth it.

The wand base is also very study and doesn’t move around like other wand bases tend to do.

My only complaint is the handle end, where the tweezers are stored. That contraption pops out almost every time I use the wand. I may just need to hold it differently to avoid that issue. I love this brush too much to go back!
