So comfy

This is my first compression sock purchase. My legs have been tired and achey for quite some time now due to my office job but recently have had a lot of swelling in my ankles. I decided it was time to give these a try. I have only been wearing these for a few hours and they have already helped! The level of compression is nice, it feels like my calves are being hugged. It’s relieving a lot of pressure off my legs and my ankles don’t look as swollen. I also have meatier calves (at least 17”) and these weren’t too snug by any means. If you’re on the fence buy these. The few one star reviews are one offs!

Adding an update to my review. I have worn these every day for the past 2-3 weeks and have have seen such an improvement in circulation in my legs. I have had a huge reduction in pains/aches and swelling!

Not Compression Socks

These are too comfortable to be providing any type of compression. I'm not a thin person, I wear women size L and 14. I have other compression socks that provide a good amount of pressure. I don't recommend these socks at all unless you just like how they look.

I have a lot of compression socks and these just don't compare to the others I have. First of all the material they are made of seems cheap and it gets hung up on my rings and my finger nails so the strings pull out while putting them on. Second they just aren't tight enough to apply compression to my legs or feet and I got the same size I have always bought. People are saying they are so easy to put on. Yes they are easy to put on but thats because they aren't tight enough to be considered compression socks. Compression socks should be difficult to put on. Atleast that's what I've been taught by my doctors and physical therapist who prescribed me compression socks in the first place. I would not buy these again. There are others on Amazon for just a few dollars more that are way better.

One sock arrived with a hole in the heel. Some pair came to my knee as desired, others were a bit shorter. If you don't need compression for under the knee swelling then it wouldn't be a problem for you. Had all been consistent in quality and fit they'd get an A but that wasn't the case.

Actually, these aren't bad socks, if this is what you need. I have big calves and they are a little too small for my calves. The are warm, but too warm for me. You can't walk easily on tile floors with these, as they are slippery.

The bottom line is if your calves aren't too big, you want warmth and you wear shoes in your home, these might be perfect for what you need.

Like I REALLY DID. First of all, they have a gazillion different designs/patterns, they all looked so glossy and polished, and there are seemingly endless great reviews right up front. Upon receiving them yesterday I noticed right out of the package that they seemed distinctly…I dunno, “grungy” maybe? They come with each pair individually packaged in a clear pouch, as is standard for compression socks. No complaints about the packaging. I’m no stranger to buying compression ANYTHING, I’ve literally bought it all, first in my 20s generally for working out and maintaining peak physical fitness year-round, and now in my 30s as my multiple health conditions dictate. So I’m also (unfortunately) no stranger to having to return products that don’t live up to expectations. Therefore I don’t remove all items from their individual packaging right away. At this point I’ve only had the chance to remove from their packaging & try on 2 pairs of the socks. The first I wore for roughly 15 hours, donned immediately after showering and worn primarily while sleeping (9 hours) and then around the house where there’s mostly carpet flooring. After 1 wear and no laundering it’s not normal/to be expected for the socks to appear pilly and for there to already be holes in the ankle area & loose threads on the soles of the foot. It’s just not. I was *hoping* to be able to chalk it up to circumstance and that the other pairs would be different…which prompted my switching to a different pair. Sadly, the results are the same. Immediately after putting them on they already had pills all over (although only on the colorfully dyed threads for whatever reason?) and there were holes around the Achilles on this pair. For reference, I purchased the Large/XL size and each of my measurements were on the mid-lower end of their respective size bracket. So I know I’m not attempting to strain these socks beyond their intended wear or capacity. A side cosmetic note: the listed product photos throw these socks as having a distinct sheen to them, almost as if made from spandex/lycra….and in person not a single pair live up to that appearance, even still inside their packaging. That just feels sketchy, when added to their already less-than-desirable performance. I’m super bummed tho. Like I already knew which color set I was gonna order from them next…

Design flaw with interior stitching

These compression socks didn't work for me. They were comfortable for the first hour but the interior stitching and excess thread (see photo) compressed into my legs leaving uncomfortable impressions in my legs. I also found the excess stitching material added heat to the socks. I am disappointed because I love the color + look of the socks and it was going to be an upgrade from the Plain Jane hospital socks as I recover from joint replacement.
