I had high hopes as the description says it will relieve symptoms but the book has many red meat recipes which personally set me off with a bad flare and gives me endo belly really bad. Some of the recipes were really not to my liking like Baked Apples and Onions!!!
There also seemed to be many recipes which needed oven cooking or frying. Fried food also sets off my symptoms. Reading through the recipes I felt I would be constantly in the kitchen and there were no quick recipes. I did not really like the idea of a set diet plan. I would rather choose my own eating plan and this book is too rigid in its approach and use.
Very disappointed and after buying the book I noticed the one good review was from a 'professional reviewer' and not from someone who has endo. Unfortunately, all told, not impressed with this book.
I bought this because I have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis. I found that the recipes included in the book were long winded and not varied enough as I’m vegetarian. I wasn’t really interested in the background information and there was just too many pages on pages of writing. It’s more of an information book with a few basic recipes in between. I haven’t used it and I won’t be using it.
