Was awesome for what I needed

I am 71 years old and am not as agile as I used to be. I wanted to hang some small pictures that I had been putting off because hammering into my walls was something I couldn't do anymore. My grandson ( who is a great fan of Amazon) sent me a picture of these and told me they were great. He was right, I got all my small pics hung. Just one thing, On my apt wall that connected to the apt next door they did not insert into the wall like all the others. I believe it was because the wall is a "connecting" wall and very thick and strong. But 9 out of 11 is GREAT! I highly recommend them!

The whole purpose of these is to put the weight onto the hook inside the wall. The tip should be cut to where it is flush against the inside of the wall when installed. These are uneven and cut the wrong way so it is instead poking into the inside of the wall when installed, which will eventually poke through. Buy the brand name hercules hooks or monkey hooks. These will damage your walls.

I did not want to put any holes in my wall. However I ended up having to do it anyway to hang some heavy decor. I do not own a drill, nails etc., but needed something sturdy. I seen these on Pinterest and decided to try them. They definitely work as stated. I struggled for a second trying to puncture a hole in the wall due to my hands sweating (lol). I wrapped a piece of paper towel around it to prevent my hands from sliding. Once you get the hook in the wall you can adjust them to your liking. At first it will look like they are too small or too big depending on how your decor hangs. You just have to keep pushing into the wall and then you can bend them a little bit, but not too much or too hard so you don't make the hole wider. You will still need to patch up the tiny holes afterwards once the wall decor is removed. I hope this helps anyone that's considering to purchase. My only issue is, the hooks did not come with any instructions so make sure you read the description of the product before you purchase.

I do not like that the product is not as pictured. They are NOT flush mount for your wall art. I looked for something that the product picture looked like it had a small hanging hook like Gorilla Hooks have. Take my word for it. They are NOT like Gorilla Hooks. Your picture or wall art stands far away from the wall at the top.

Not secure. Slide out and tore hole in wall.

The shape of these allow them to pull out of the wall easily and not secure in place. They have ripped a hole in my Sheetrock hanging a metal piece of art.
When I insert them they fall right out about half an inch and are not secured into the wall.
I have used other hooks similar and compared the shapes. My previous hooks were more rounded and stayed very snug in the wall. These are shaped a bit different and fall right now or twist.

Buyer beware.

Hooks are too flimsy for my heavy mirror

I am always glad to see that Amazon sells things I need especially when I need it delivered the next day. When I received my monkey hooks I was a bit concerned that they looked more flimsy and thinner than what I had expected. I had a very heavy mirror I needed to hang and was concerned these hooks would fail me. I decided to put two hooks in side by side just to be sure they would hold up the mirror. So far so good, but I think next time I’ll order these hooks at a local hardware store so I can make sure I can see how thick they are and that their quality is a bit more up to my standards.

Will NOT hold 100 lbs!!

I have used many of these borrow for small items and I love them. Easy to use and only make a small hole. I was excited to see these would hold 100 lbs. I hung a 60 lb antique mirror on it ( not my brightest idea). About an hour later a guest noticed it was sliding down the wall!! He caught it and we saw that the hook had basically straightened out from the weight. Would not recommend for heavy items!!!
