Update 12/20: I love this pan & use it almost daily. No problems w it at all, no chips, scratches or any of the ceramic coating coming off. The manufacturer was intelligent & didn't put to coating on the rim of the pan which many others do & lots of the reviews of those pans had complaints about that. I'm definitely very happy w this pan & would buy it again.
I've used this pan 3 times & so far, I like it. It does seem to heat evenly, it's very easy to cook in (no metal utensils) & clean up is super easy. I seasoned it well & only clean it out with hot water & wipe out with clean paper towel & then a final dry with a dish towel. I'll be back later to give an update after using it for a longer period. I do use oil to cook in it; so far nothing has stuck to it. I gave it 4 stars b/c I think we should know all the chemicals used in making cookware & everything else. This manufacturer didn't do that. I also don't use the lid that came with the pan as it has a metal rim & would probably remove the ceramic coating on the rim of this skillet. I use a glass lid that is rimmed with silicone so no damage is done to pans. I love the big size of this. It's able to hold a big amount of food, which is exactly what I wanted.
