A heartbreaking, but exciting adventure taking you all over Europe and the picturesque mountains of Bavaria.
Out of the ugliness of human trafficking can come the beauty of emotional healing and unexpected love. One of BDI’s Bandits, Brett Wheeler, had endured a very difficult childhood, one that he still suffers nightmares and emotionally scarring memories. Tallie is trying to live her life outside the shadow of her formidable mother and whose influence is worldwide. She just wants to do the work she loves and cultivate her own reputation from her own skills and merit.
Most people don’t understand that there is a very dark side of society. This author has created a story that teaches us just how easily it is for an innocent person to be thrust into the dangerous and ugly machinations that operate in secret all over the world. Unfortunately, not all that goes on end up with a happy ending for those innocent people involuntarily involved, but here, Brett and BDI are heroes!
BDI’s mission is to help the innocent people against the bad people. In this case, the leader of BDI, Ian Black, is determined to eradicate as many of the human traffickers in the world as he can track down. This is where Brett comes in, he is undercover when, unfortunately, he meets Tallie, and the race is on to free her from the sick organization that has her.
Very well written, with scenery and details galore, I enjoyed Brett and Tallie’s travels through some of the most beautiful areas of Europe. I couldn’t put this book down; it gets real exciting from the very beginning and doesn’t let you slow down until the end. I am so looking forward to the next book in this exciting series!
