This beautiful book has come at a time when more humans every day are speaking out about what farm animals are enduring and it will be a shining light to the path of understanding that all beings love life and that they feel every bit as much as humans do.. til the day all are free. Thank you Suli. Love, Gaea
This is a series of letters written by the animals that are suffering so farmers can make a profit. The hen has to have her beak cut off. The pig cannot move. My mother tells me when she was young, chicken tasted quite different to the chicken we have now. Hormones are being pumped into livestock, animals cannot move and eat grass. This book makes you think about what you eat and you realize why veganism is becoming more and more popular today. The book is dedicated to Lucky, a wonderful dog. The animals have names and sign off their essays with their signatures e.g part of their body. Something different. A wonderful gift for a vegan friend or animal lover.
Beautifully crafted letters of misery but also of hope and love. Heartbreaking but inspiring. From them to us. From us to them. We have to take action to make their voice heard. Hopefully this books helps to create more activists, more the bold ones who care.

What a great book! The acknowledgement of Lucky at the beginning of the book was very touching. This book composes of seven different points of views from seven different animals. An enlightening material to read. I strongly recommend this book. Easy five stars.
