Authors Andrew Dobell & Michael Anderle bring us the next tale in the universe hopping series of Quantum Legends. Amanda has her familiar kidnapped by the Revers and taken for leverage into another universe. Once Amanda gets there she notices that this is the universe of her friend Bethany Anne whom she meet twice at Bob's Bar. As the two catch up and Bethany Anne realizes that her time at the bar means that there is a multi-verse out there. But the problem that Amanda came to take care of was the Revers and the both her and B.A. find them and begin their battle. Along the way they learn that the Revers have been in B.A.'s universe for a lot longer and have been experimenting with one of the species that lives there. This a great crossover book and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I highly recommend it for all science fiction fans
Love the fight parts of this story it was almost as if I could see them. Ah, if Bethany Anne would have magic also, how she would kick but. Loved Amanda also she is pretty bad and the two of them together, wonderful.
Excellent book except I think there were some pages wasted concerning a certain characters shoe fetish. The book moves right along, a fun crossover, could’ve been more action but as I am not a shoe aficionado I thought those scenes in the story were wasted. Really there could’ve been a bit more action a Little less shoe introspection. And Amanda could have left BA and her team with some enchanted weapons after all tennis got a ship. I felt that was a copout. Besides that the book was a fun read give it a shot.
Sass meets snark when two kickass heroines from different universes take on a threat together. Bethany Anne and Amanda meet again, outside of BOB's Bar, to fight a threat from Amanda's Universe(s). Much violence, laughter, snark and innuendo ensue. And ass kicking of course. It was a fun cross over from two masters of their craft. Neither heroine dominated the story, but instead blended together to make one really enjoyable whole. The end of the book made me a little teary eyed for BA, as Amanda's gift was a bit overwhelming and perfect.
What will happen when Amanda, the Magi meets Bethany Anne in the Kurtherian universe? A wild and wonderful romp through Ookens and evil Magi. The Reavers will regret their intrusion into BA’s universe. A good, fun, read.
