First off, let me say I am not quite comfortable reviewing or able to provide an objective review of this book. Someone with a programming background is not going to be able to squeeze themselves edgewise into this work. It's intensely mathematical and removed from Data, Programming for the most part. There is no code in it. You'll be gobsmacked by equations.
But it says Foundations and hence maintains it's a foundational approach which for Computer and Natural Sciences is Mathematics
