We preordered, and my 10 year old devoured it as soon as it arrived today. She says: “As soon as it arrived, I started reading it because I was so excited to be one of the first people to read it. I think it’s a good book. I feel like it’s not like any of the other babysitters club books in a good way. It really talks about how shy and nervous Mary Anne could be, and you get really excited and giddy when you’re reading it. Mary Anne gets less nervous as the book goes along. She gets up the courage to call Logan and ask if he wants to join the babysitters club, and she handled it OK when he said no. But she is still shocked. It’s a good book, and you should read it. The book also has a beautiful cover.”
I asked why it wasn’t five stars, and she said it was not the best babysitters club graphic novel. Her favorite of the set is Boy Crazy Stacy.
