Hamal's Dancer is one of the Best M/M romances I've read in quite sometime. Joel Crofoot is an amazing author, who hooks the reader in from the very first page and doesn't let go, until the very end. I Loved Ornias and Hamal's story! What's not to like about an Angel and a Demon setting aside their differences for, love?
Hamal is tired of being the youngest Angel in training. Everyone treats him like a child! Needing a breath of fresh air to clear his head, he enters a club one night and finally meets someone who just might take him seriously.
Ornias is an incubus who moonlights as a dancer in a gay bar. It's the perfect opportunity for him to suck the very essence out of the patrons who frequent the bar. Until, one night, he meets a man who captures his attention. Now, he will stop at nothing to find him once again.
If you love a fantastic Paranormal Angel romance, then grab this book! Five Stars!!
I've been a big fan of this angel series since the beginning. This next installment doesn't disappoint, following one of the younger angelings instead of the older ones like Gabriel and Michael. All of the stories have steamy romances mixed together with great action stories. This m/m romance was expertly written and I loved both characters.
Hamal is young but he knows his own heart. Determined to prove he has what it takes and find his place among the others, he sets out to stop the enemy. When he meets Ornias, there's no denying the chemistry and attraction that instantly ignites. Ornias is an incubus demon with a past. Finding love and acceptance has been a dream he's chased for centuries. Their explosive passion lights up the pages of this novel.
Another amazing addition to the series! Highly recommended.
Absolutely perfect. No one does angels like Joel Crofoot. The powerful story in this book will warm your heart, pull your tears against your will, and comfort you in a wave of emotions that grips you from the start and never lets go. I was in love with both these men by the end and wanted nothing but the love and happiness they deserved. One thing I really enjoy about this series is that angel or demon, the heroes are real and flawed and must go through growth to find themselves and happiness with their lovers. I'm not talking about contrived for the plot growth, I'm talking about painful, profound growth that makes them more human and makes you want to jump in the pages and hold them in your arms. This is must read. You can read them alone in any order but I'll save you some time, start at the beginning because you will want to read them all.
I've read every book in this series so far, so I was excited to pick this one up. Hamal doesn't get a lot of attention in the previous books, so I was glad to see him get an entire book. This one doesn't disappoint. It makes me wonder if Ornias is going to rise later in the series. The beginning of the series followed the older angels and this one follows one of the younger angels. I'm hoping to see more of the younger angels as the series progresses.
What greater conflict could there be than an angel and a demon? Despite who they are, Ornias, a demon, and Hamal, an angel, are attracted to one another in a bond so strong they are unable to resist. But their attraction, no matter how steamy, isn’t enough. Ornias carries thousands of years of baggage, including an unpleasant past with the archangels. Hamal has his own “demons,” including the need to prove his skills as an angel. This deep-rooted need puts both himself and Ornias in danger, but in the end, Ornias and Hamal’s angel family save Hamal. Ornias heals and transforms after a visit from an unexpected source.
Hamal’s Dancer is a beautifully written story that reminds us souls are souls (whether human, angel, or demon,) and you love who you love. Highly recommended for those who enjoy angel, paranormal, and/or gay love stories.
I've read all the books in this series and they all are a pleasure to read. I learn so much about acceptance and how God loves everyone. I hope their is another book that comes out. Don't stop writing for this series.
I read this book as part of a box set called Prophesy of Magic. I enjoyed the story so much I had to post an individual review for it. If you haven’t read anything by this author, you must. Though the books follow on from each other, each has its own unique tale and concentrates on a different main character. The books are addictive, the characters stimulating and the writing great. The author makes you feel as though the people really exist and you live the stories with them. They also make you go through a number of different emotions as you read. This one is no exception.
This book was from a collection of urban fantasy and paranormal romance novels that had me curious if I may say. I dove in and heck, I'm thrilled I did! This is one of those books that will leave you wanting more! I was hooked straight from the start!
Side note: This one is a "must read". It was also the first book I have read by this author. I wasn't disappointed at all! thi author is one to follow!
Ornius is a sucubus that works as a dancer in a gay club to feed. He is tired of this life but he must feed to stay alive. Hamal is an angel looking for companionship. He finds Ornius after following some men to the club. They end up becoming lovers and Ornius helps with a case the angels are on. This is a complicated, sexy romance between an angel and a demon. Gender doesn't matter when it comes to love. Wonderful and uplifting. If they can unite then the we can too.
