Starting To Slip

I read all 6 books in the Bell Witch series. The driver to do this was primarily for the characters, and secondary for the plot. But the plot started to fall apart or get too muddled for me after the 3rd book. In a way it was disappointing. The main characters started to get too far out there about the 4th book. I honestly believe the author should have left both the plot and characters alone. The scene settings were fairly decent and remained constant throughout the series. The biggest flaw for me, was that there was no intimacy for any of the characters. The main characters were 15 to 30 years of, with no mention of intimacy. Are we to assume that 5 people were all celibate? One couple was married and all she ever got was a kiss on the forehead. Not realistic in that regard. All in all it was worth the time and effort, and I found it enjoyable.
