I’ve loved every book I’ve read by Kay! What did I like or not like. There are several things happening in and out of sequence. And all comes together, Charlotte finding herself and becoming confident and no longer controlled by a dysfunctional family, Finding freedom in her painting what wasn’t expected of her! If you love the beach, sunsets romance and a small town setting you’ll love this. Three best fiends from high school become fast friends again! Two favorite scenarios are when Charlotte speaks her mind to her family. After Ben tells her the only person who needs to be proud of you is you! And life falls into place. If you like a great story without sex or violence this is for you.
I love the way Charlotte's dream come true for her, at the end, her dad came to show her his support to her, her & Ben got together, I enjoyed reading this series. Wonderful book, I highly recommend it.
I just finished book #2 & bought the next one, book #3. I love the way Kay Correll tells these stories! There is always a disappointment when a good book ends & there is no sequel! I am going to enjoy book #3 & learn more about these interesting group of people. I would recommend these books to all women who like stories with love involved, some possible unhappy times but that always end with a happy ending leaving you want more leading you on to the next book. Enjoy!
Ben and Charlotte went to school together, but he was crushing on her sister. Like so many other young boys. But now that he was grown up he realized how much he and Charlotte really had in common. The enjoyed each others company. Two of a kind.
I would recommend this book to everyone. Love the series. I finish one book and can't wait to start the next book. Great characters in this series. Happy Char is standing up for herself, with her family.
Charlotte is living on Belle Island and finding a new aspect to her painting. When her family arrives from Austin with all their negativity her friends wonder how she will survive the week of their visit. Robin shows Char's work to the gallery owner and things make a turn for the better.
