So I have recently enjoyed reading the Forest of Shadows book (which was more like a 1.5 book before Frozen 2 but really its a side story that didn't really connect with Frozen 2 at all) But I figured I would enjoy the new Frozen 2 book as well. I left seeing Frozen II in the theaters with a lot of questions and I thought the book would answer them. This book has VERY short chapters and hardly any detail. The mothers lullaby song thats in the movie (which in my opinion gives detail to the plot of the movie) isn't even disclosed. Very disappointed. Their is hardly any extra description into certain scenes that were in the movie. Its just basic. The movie was beautifully done and I left wanting more. Usually when you read a book you get more information than you do a movie. The Forest of Shadows gave excellent detail and excitement as a side story for any reader with great suspense. Granted I am only into chapter 11 in the Frozen 2 book but this book does not excite me enough that I "can't put it down". Its basically casual short reading. I seriously hope they do more with Frozen since they just introduced these elements "air, water, earth, & fire" into the movie, and quite frankly, they could do SO much with. It was an excellent 2nd Frozen movie and, like I said, left me wanting more so this book is unsatisfying.
