I've missed the Buckhorn crew!

It's been awhile since I read any of the Buckhorn books, but it was easy enough to jump back in without feeling like I missed anything- although I realized I missed the families of Buckhorn! I need to go back and see which ones I haven't read yet.
Jax was a quick, easy read, and definitely a case of insta-love. Jax did his best to resist Briana, more concerned with taking care of his brother and sister after their parents died than dating. Briana wasn't easily deterred, though. On one hand I liked that about her, she went after what she wanted, on the other hand she did get a little pushy there at the end. But I think Jax needed that, otherwise he probably would have kept pushing his wants/needs to the side, placing his sister and brother above all else. I really did like that about him! He deserved his happiness too, and he found it with Briana and her family- they all did. I love that her family all came together to welcome him, Owen, and Ella into their fold!
