Worked with PS3, Apple TV, and Blu-ray Player, but not Roku 4

At first, I thought this HDMI switch worked great. I plugged in four devices to it (Samsung Blu-ray player, Apple TV, Sony Playstation 3, and a Roku 4) and the picture looked great on all four and the HDMI automatically switched to the active device. Additionally, the remote control was also extremely easy to use and was able to manually switch between HDMI inputs without any issues.
I did not have an issue playing movies through the Blu-ray player, Apple TV, or games on the Playstation. Everything ran extremely smoothly. However, when I went to start watching media on my Roku, I ran into a problem. I was able to pull up the Netflix app on my Roku and search for a movie/show I wanted to watch without issue. However, the minute I clicked play on the content the screen turned purple. I could hear the sound, I could see the rating for the content (e.g. TV-MA), but the picture was just a solid purple screen. I tried a few different movies/shows and experienced the same with all of them. I even tried other apps on my Roku (e.g. ESPN, FoxNow, ABC) and experienced the same issue on all of them.
I reached out to Koopman for support and did receive a response, but it was basically that they had had an issue with a Roku player before. Though some back and forth messaging, they offered some suggestions towards updating the Roku (which I had done and did again) but did not find any success. I asked if the output from my Roku changed when the media started and there was a technical issue and asked if my device could be defective (although it worked with the other 3 devices) or if my Roku could be defective (although it worked plugged into the TV) but did not receive clear answers on those questions and eventually have not heard back from them in over a week (at this point). While their customer service was friendly, they never provided an actual solution to the issue I was experiencing.
I have ordered a different HDMI switch with hopes that it will work properly and will be returning this device because I still have to switch cables, defeating the purpose of the HDMI switch. Therefore, my advice is to be cautious when purchasing this device if you plan on connecting a Roku to it, especially a Roku 4 device.
